Memories of Walker
Walker sadly passed away 11/08/18. Thank you for being a loving loyal patient best friend & very valued member of the family, giving me a sense of purpose even when i got things wrong you inspired me to put things right. You made a house a home & so empty without you. You made life easier to cope with & now it so hard. I hope I gave you the love & loyalty you showed me. Seeing you so poorly was hard but I hope I helped you bare the burden. I missed you every time when I had to go out but I was always thinking of getting back to you as soon as i could, you mattered more than words can say . I do miss you rolling in the gravel & sitting in your favourite sunny spot, making you a special meal as well giving you a good ear rub, head & tummy stroke, sitting on my lap to snuggle down watching you walking with pride around your manor checking every thing was ok to your standard, supervising what I was doing & being the furry alarm clock at feeding time, watching & hearing you sleep next to fire or next to my bed in your little house after made sure i had got in bed. I hope I showed you the same devotion you showed me when it mattered to you especially in the end when you had to go on the journey alone - you took a piece of me with you to keep forever you can be reassured our love crosses the that great divide. It will seem such a long time before I can join you to walk over the Rainbow bridge but then there will be a joyful reunion & never to part no more I hope you will be there if not I will look for you until the end of days - with undying devoted love & devotion from your human companion who misses you beyond any words can express.
