Homemade peanut butter bites

Dogs will love this simple and easy recipe for chilled peanut butter dog treats.

Homemade peanut butter bites are a simple chilled treat that your dog will love. Using just three ingredients, they're easy to make on a hot summer's day.

Note

Treats should be given in moderation and alongside a well-balanced diet. Always check with your vet if your dog has any special dietary requirements.

What you'll need:

  • One apple
  • Two tbsp xylitol-free peanut butter
  • One cup of xylitol-free plain Greek yoghurt
  • Mixing bowl
  • Ice cube tray

How to make peanut butter bites for your dog

  1. Mix the yoghurt and peanut butter together in a mixing bowl
  2. Cut the apple into small chunks, removing the core, pips and stalk
  3. Fill an ice cube tray with the mix
  4. Place an apple chunk on top of the mix in each ice cube section
  5. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer
  6. Remove when it’s frozen

All that's left is to give them to your dog and watch them enjoy!
