Hello, I'm Bear

I'm a 7-year-old Thoroughbred Type from Burford rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more.

I’ve been reserved

Thanks for clicking on my profile. I have now been matched with a loving family and I’m looking forward to settling in at my new home. However, many of my friends still need adopting.

About me

Bear resides at a foster yard in Leicestershire and is ready to find himself a new home as a non-ridden companion.

He is an inquisitive chap who thrives in a routine with other horses. He loves agility style games and enjoys playing with other ponies in his herd.

Bear is good to handle once settled in a routine. Once settled he can be left alone for short periods. Due to being in a busy foster yard at present this would need to be introduced in a home if required.

He will suit a quiet, private yard or field set up with someone who can give him love and attention. He LOVES cuddles. He has happily lived with mares and geldings and lives out on moderate to good grazing all year round making the perfect grass eating companion!

Included in my care

  • I've been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered as required
  • Examined by a vet and treated if needed
  • Assessed by an experienced member of our team
  • Given an individual profile to help match me with my new owner
