This little lady is Belle who is looking for a special home to call her own please read my profile carefully before applying as I do have a few quirks.
Belle may be tiny but she has a lot of considerations for a new owner to make sure she flourishes there. Like lots of rescue pugs she is very nervous of new people and will come forward to show this. She has made friends at the centre successfully but it takes a bit of time for her to become comfortable enough to settle in your company.
Once she has made a bond with you however she is your loving companion for life! she is a proper little lap dog who enjoys being with you and sat companionably beside of on you! She also enjoys walks – she is a typical pug and has been known to decide her own walks on occasion!
We are looking for ideally a single owner who doesn't have many visitors so that we can work on building a strong bond with that new owner, this will involve multiple visits to the centre in a short space of time and potentially us bringing Belle to your home for settling in visits - so you will need to be relatively local to Newport.
We know this sounds like a bit of work but if given the best chance to settle you will see a very funny, playful and loving little dog in Belle.
Read the pet’s profile to make sure that they are suitable for your circumstances.
We want to be fair to everyone who applies for a pet so applications are dealt with in the order that we receive them.
Please be patient while we process your application. If you are successful we will contact you to go through next steps.
I'd like to say I have a lot to give to my new owner and that I think I deserve a warm and loving home. Can you help me out? I think Blue Cross would be much appreciative!
