About me

My name is Comet, I’m a 2 year old Patterdale cross all the way from Ireland!

Although I’m 2 years old, I haven’t seen a lot of the world and there is quite a lot that worries me a bit....these metal boxes with wheels that people drive round in? They’re weird!

I am a bit shy when meeting new people initially, but I am quick to grow in confidence! And when I do, I just love a cuddle!

My favourite thing in the world is other doggies! I love playing with them and being around them. I could definitely live with a confident dog in my new home, that could maybe help teach me that the world isn’t such a scary place!

I would really love my new owners to have experience with undersocialised doggies, and to be patient and understanding and give me time to get used to my whole new life in the UK! I could potentially live with older children, pending meets at the centre.

I can’t wait to find my forever home and start learning about the world with them!

If you have a Comet shaped hole in your heart, please register your details today, or call the Hertfordshire centre for more information.

How rehoming works

  1. Browse our pets, find your favourite

Read the pet’s profile to make sure that they are suitable for your circumstances.

  2. Complete the online application form

We want to be fair to everyone who applies for a pet so applications are dealt with in the order that we receive them.

  3. We process your application

Please be patient while we process your application. If you are successful we will contact you to go through next steps.

Thanks for reading my story…

I'd like to say I have a lot to give to my new owner and that I think I deserve a warm and loving home. Can you help me out? I think Blue Cross would be much appreciative!
