About me

Hi, my name is Lucy and I am a 11 year old, female, domestic short hair.

They call me Princess Lucy, but I no longer have a crown.

Could you be the one with magic powers to turn my life around?

I had my birthday recently, I only had one wish,

That a home would come along for me with lots of tasty fish.

I like to eat, I like to sleep or sometimes just cat nap,

But my favourite thing to do all day is curl up on your lap.

I'd like to be the only pet, with children that are older

Because if their laps aren't big enough, I may curl up on their shoulder.

When I blew out all my candles, I made a wish to open doors,

To a brand new home, to call my own, to sweep me off my paws.

Lots of love, Princess Lucy xx

Does your loved one have room in their heart, but not in their home, for a pet of their own? Blue Cross sponsorship is the perfect present for animal lovers.

Sponsor a pet as a gift for your loved one from as little as 70p a week, and they will receive monthly updates from real homeless pets in our care who are just waiting to meet their new families. Your chosen friend or family member will also receive a downloadable certificate from each of the dogs, cats, small pets and horses they’ve helped to find loving new homes.
