About me

UPDATE FROM MARNIE'S FOSTER PARENTS

Marnie has been with us for just over three months and has come a long way since her arrival. She is very curious and inquisitive, and never misses an opportunity to greet us. She runs into our bedroom in the morning when she hears our alarm clock and is systematically at the top of the stairs waiting for us when we return home from work. Marnie is extremely playful and particularly fond of her tunnels and rod toys. She plays with us every day but also loves to entertain herself. We frequently hear Marnie running from one end of our house to the other, often throwing herself through the tunnels – she has a habit of wiggling her bum before launching herself through them!

Marnie has discovered the joy of being groomed since being with us and runs towards us every time we take her brush out. She is particularly fond of being groomed under her chin. Marnie enjoys being fussed and will lift her front right paw when she’s really enjoying it! When perfectly relaxed, she also has a habit of dribbling while purring!

She loves her food and lets us know when it is time to be fed. She is very eager to venture outside again and so a large, secure garden in a low-cat neighbourhood would be an ideal location for her.

She has met quite a few of our friends and relatives and, although she has often accepted a fuss from them, she can be a little bit timid and uncertain with strangers. As such, Marnie will require an understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to bond with her new owners though this should not take long based on our experience! Because Marnie can be a bit more timid but is bold when playing, we feel she would be better suited to a quieter home, perhaps with older children.

Marnie is lovely, fun and full of energy. We have become very fond of her and hope she finds her forever home very soon!
