About me

Hello my name is Matilda and I’m a 2 year old black and white female cat.

I’m feeling pretty anxious at the moment because I have spent a lot of time on the streets doing my own thing, so being in a cattery isn’t for me. When you’re on the streets your trust for people slips away and you are often seen as a pest, I can’t wait to be able to trust people again.

I really need an owner that can be patient with me and let me blossom at my pace. I feel that children would be too much for me at the moment but maybe in the future when I’m more confident they might be okay. I’ve seen many cats out and about on my travels and I would very much like a home to call my own, I feel as though dogs would frighten me too much as well.

Does your loved one have room in their heart, but not in their home, for a pet of their own? Blue Cross sponsorship is the perfect present for animal lovers.

Sponsor a pet as a gift for your loved one from as little as 70p a week, and they will receive monthly updates from real homeless pets in our care who are just waiting to meet their new families. Your chosen friend or family member will also receive a downloadable certificate from each of the dogs, cats, small pets and horses they’ve helped to find loving new homes.
