About me

Good day, it is I, Lord Montague; delighted to make your acquaintance. My full title may be Lord Montague, but all my friends call me Monty.

The staff are very good to me here at Blue Cross Manor but I’m hoping to upgrade to a real home, one more fitting for a cat as noble as I. I can be cautious of people I don’t know, but I’m such an affectionate chap when I’ve had time to figure things out, and I’m sure we’ll get on splendidly once I’ve made myself at home. As I’d rather not share my VIP (very important puddycat!) status and don’t like too much hustle and bustle around me, I would rather a home that is free from young children and other animals.

I thoroughly enjoy my creature comforts; a warm, cosy bed to curl up in, gentle fuss from my family, and the occasional pampering session are just a few of my favourite things. If you’re out at work during the day I’m sure I’ll find some hobbies to keep myself entertained (sleeping is definitely a hobby!), and when you get home in the evening you can amuse me with stories about your day.

I can be a bit perturbed by the outside world, but once the weather starts to warm up I may be more inclined to stretch my paws and explore the grounds; I do so love to watch out the windows and see everything that is going on.

Golly gosh, look at the time, I’d best dash and spruce myself up before the evening banquet! Cheerio for now.

How rehoming works

  1. Browse our pets, find your favourite

Read the pet’s profile to make sure that they are suitable for your circumstances.

  2. Complete the online application form

We want to be fair to everyone who applies for a pet so applications are dealt with in the order that we receive them.

  3. We process your application

Please be patient while we process your application. If you are successful we will contact you to go through next steps.

Thanks for reading my story…

I'd like to say I have a lot to give to my new owner and that I think I deserve a warm and loving home. Can you help me out? I think Blue Cross would be much appreciative!
