About me

*** Due to current restrictions around travel and centre visits, we are only able to rehome pets to homes within one hour of the Burford Rehoming Centre, OX18 4PF. Some pets may also be limited to single pet homes. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause. ***

Peanut is a sweet, fun-loving and characterful dog who is looking for a new home where she can spend plenty of time with people, enjoy play sessions and explore the world on her walks.

Don’t be fooled by her breed…Peanut likes to do all the things dogs should do and definitely doesn’t want to be carried around like a princess!

Peanut likes to say hello to other dogs and could share her home with a dog in the future. She could live with children. Rehomers with experience of understanding of the challenges that brachycephalic dog breeds face would be an advantage, but the rehoming team can also give advice on this.

Peanut is a quick learner and motivated by tasty treats, so this is a great way for rehomers to progress her training, especially helping her to get used to the telly. Her new owners will need to consider not using the telly in the home while Peanut settles in and learns to be calm while the telly is on. Team members will support her new owners with this ongoing training need, so a new owner motivated to continue Peanut’s training in this area is essential.

Peanut will make a fantastic addition to a home so please fill out a home finder form to register your interest
