About me

Pongo is a handsome Lurcher cross looking for a special new home.

He loves long countryside walks, especially when he gets the opportunity to say hello to new people and other dogs, Pongo is quite a socialite! At home he loves sunbathing and having a cuddle after a good play session and chomp on a tasty chew.

Pongo is looking for confident owners who have experience of handling a young, enthusiastic dog and who are interested in continuing the extensive training programme he has here at the centre. He has a history of struggling with life and will show this by jumping up and mouthing and other behaviours, because of this he is unable to live with children

Pongo may be able to live with another dog but cats would be a bit of a temptation!

Pongo has been patiently waiting for the right home and the centre team are keen to help him with the transition from rehoming centre to new home with visits and day trips as he will find this change challenging.

He’s a smart, playful, sweet, cheeky dude waiting for you to come and meet him.

  • I've been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered as required
  • Examined by a vet and treated as required
  • Assessed by an experienced member of our team
  • Given an individual profile to help match me with my new owner
