About me

Once upon a time, there was a handsome knight by the name of Rocco.

Rocco longed to find some humans who he could dote on and call his own. Whilst he waited, the team at the Blue Cross centre did everything they could to make Rocco a happy knight but every time he saw his friends leave to go to their new homes, he couldn’t help but shed a tear. ‘One day that will be me’ he told himself each time.

But sadly, Rocco the Knight still patiently awaits to find his kingdom. As every knight, he had an active nature and enjoys being outdoors (minus the horse of course). However, one day Rocco realised he couldn’t keep up with the other knights and after seeing ye olde vet, they told Rocco he had a poorly shoulder. ‘Fear not’ Rocco said, ‘This shall not stop me enjoying my life!’ and this has not held Rocco back at all, he still enjoys playing with his toys and going on his walks. The team at the centre will be happy to tell people all about his shoulder.

In Sir Rocco’s downtime, he enjoys goofing around with his four legged canine friends, no matter how big or small they may be! Sadly, not so much with the felines. Although, due to his poorly shoulder, he is best to live as an only pet, but can definitely find time to mingle with furry friends on walks.

Rocco is always up for leaning new life skills. (That’s how he earnt the title Sir Rocco). He would love to continue this in a new home. He is on the lookout at the top of the tower for some strong owners as he is quite the big, strapping lad. He could live with some older children who can help him with learning new skills and daily duties of caring for Sir Rocco.

After a hard day’s work for Rocco the Knight, he loves nothing more than snuggling on the sofa. He is counting down until Game of Thrones begins; we then have to address him as Sir Rocco, House of Blue Cross.

If you think you could offer Rocco his happily ever after, please fill in a homefinder.
