About me

Project - Home Direct Devon

Hi everyone my name is Rosie, I am a beautiful young mare looking to be rehomed from my private home in Devon to a Blue Cross home.

As you can see from my pictures I am a stunning young horse and in an experienced home one day I will make a great riding or even driving horse. I am well mannered and easy to keep. I have had in the past a locking stifle, this has happened twice and hasn't happened for a number of months, due to this I currently live out 24/7 so I can keep moving, the vets say its common for younger horses to have this and hope it wont happen once I am being ridden and muscled up correctly.

my owners are very sad at needing to rehome me but they are keeping my best interests at heart and feel me going to a home where someone has more time will be more beneficial to me.

I am good for the farrier and the vet and enjoy all types of attention.

If you think you could offer me a lovely home please do apply for me.

If you are interested in rehoming me or any other Blue Cross horse/pony, then please click on the “Rehome me!” link. The Blue Cross holds up to 100 horses and ponies at any one time. Even if Rosie is not available please be assured we are still actively trying to find you a suitable match for your needs and we will be in contact as soon as we do.

How rehoming works

  1. Browse our pets, find your favourite

Read the pet’s profile to make sure that they are suitable for your circumstances.

  2. Change the online application form

We want to be fair to everyone who applies for a pet so applications are dealt with in the order that we receive them.

  3. We process your application

Please be patient while we process your application. If you are successful we will contact you to go through next steps.

Thanks for reading my story…

I'd like to say I have a lot to give to my new owner and that I think I deserve a warm and loving home. Can you help me out? I think Blue Cross would be much appreciative!
