Hello my name is Zinnia, I am looking for a home as companion.
I am a beautiful and very sweet but sensitive mare looking for an understanding home where I am only going to be trained using positive training.
When I first arrived I was very scared of human touch due to a previous life of cruelty and abuse. The team trains me with food rewards as I have found it difficult to adjust to pressure and release.
I am now good to catch, groom and have my feet picked out when I know my handler and am in a good routine. My groom is very proud of how far I’ve come.
I was very badly treated in the past so new environments can make me anxious and scared, I would really benefit from going to a home where someone has time for me to settle and can do regular positive training sessions to gain my trust and help my confidence grow.
Are you the home for me?
