Pets change lives, we change theirs

Pets mean so much to us. They are our best friends, our family and our partners in crime.

At Blue Cross, we believe in helping pets because pets help us. That’s why we care for thousands of sick, injured and abandoned pets every month. And until we find them the perfect home they’re part of our Blue Cross family.

How Blue Cross pets change lives

Motivator

Once the kids left, I just couldn’t get myself back in gear. Blue Cross really took the time to understand my situation, and they helped me find the perfect pet. Not going out together every day just isn’t an option with her energy levels. She’s my motivator. I don’t know what I’d do without her!

Family

Poppy chose me at the Blue Cross rehoming centre. I was looking for a companion and out she trotted. We go everywhere together, Pops and me. I’d be lost without her. I tell her everything; share every secret, ask her for advice. She even picks out which tie I should wear for each occasion. She’s my family.

Best friend

It’s been pretty quiet round here since Bob, my husband died. Each day just dragged and I really missed the company. You know, someone to natter to. So the folk at Blue Cross thought this little one would be perfect for me. He’d been abandoned with a broken leg, but the Blue Cross vets soon fixed him. Whisper isn’t the chattiest, but he’s become like a best friend to me.

How we help

We help thousands of pets in need every month, providing veterinary care, expert behaviour help and find them loving homes, as well as advice and education for current or future pet owners and pet bereavement support. We develop lifelong relationships with pets and owners, providing quality care that is accessible and non-judgemental. With your support we can give back to more pets in need.
