The Award Ceremony

The award will be presented at the British Veterinary Nurse Association (BVNA) Congress on Saturday 2 October 2021. This year it will be a hybrid event with live speakers at the event in Telford and remote delegates so no-one misses out.

Last year's winner

Last year, the Award went to Chloe Mackintosh who is a veterinary nurse at RSPCA in Harmsworth, North London and was nominated for her passion and commitment to animal welfare.

Chloe said: “I was shocked to find out I had been nominated, and absolutely taken aback to find out in the same phone call I had won! It’s such an honour to win something of this stature as the Blue Cross is a charity I admire immensely. My passion and niche is charity work and I really mean it when I say this has made my year.”
