Rehome a pet
We find homes for unwanted cats, dogs, small pets and horses across the UK. Find out more about our rehoming process and why you should adopt a pet from Blue Cross.
In 2014, we launched our first and only Rehoming and Advice Unit inside a Pets at Home store. This scheme offers animal lovers visiting the Swindon branch in Wiltshire the opportunity to speak to our Blue Cross team about rehoming, pet care, and how to get involved with supporting the charity.
The unit itself features an interactive rehoming desk where customers can browse details of our pets needing homes, a consultation area for pet owners to discuss rehoming and pet care. We also have a children’s area.
Ordinarily we take in donations for our nearest Rehoming Centre at Burford and also items for our nearest charity shops in Marlborough and Cirencester but due to Covid 19 and amendments to ways of working we are not taking any donations for the time being-we will communicate clearly when that changes.
If the Unit is closed you can always contact us by telephoning 0300 777 1585 or email us ([email protected]) and a team member will respond when they’re next in.
We have been closed to walk-ins during lockdown but hoping to be back in person very soon.
