Sometimes love is hard to find

For many different reasons, there are unfortunate pets that don’t find permanent homes. Every pet we look after has so much love to give, and deserves that chance to be able to share it. Please show these pets your love by giving a gift today. Give a donation now.

Meet the super seven

Forget the seven dwarves – meet this group of lovely boys. The greyhounds were left unwanted after a racetrack in Wales closed and were taken in by our Blue Cross adoption centre in Burford. Two are lucky enough to have been reserved already but the other five are looking for loving homes.

Stray cats reunited with their owners

Two stray cats have been reunited with their worried owners within days of each other. Both pets were treated at our animal hospital in Merton after being handed into The Blue Cross. Because they weren’t microchipped or wearing collars with identification, we had no way of knowing whether the cats had loving owners looking for them.

Bareback riders raise £200 for Blue Cross

Brave horse-riders who took up a bareback challenge have raised £200 for The Blue Cross. The Christmas Pudding Bareback Challenge – a sponsored dressage competition with a twist – was a great success. It was run by Interdressage, a website that gives people a chance to compete online for prize money and rosettes by submitting videos.

New home for Tinkerbell

This cat feels like she’s been sprinkled with fairy dust after finding a loving new home. Tinkerbell caught the eye of Nick Hillman, who is the Conservative candidate for Cambridge at the general election.

Help find gorgeous young rottweiler Roxy a home

Lovely Roxy is a young rottweiler who is being cared for at our Bromsgrove adoption centre. Although she can be a little shy initially once she gets to know you she is a loving and playful girl! She loves to be out and about with her Blue Cross friends but is now looking for a permanent home.
