Bark in the Dark Terms & Conditions

Please read through the terms, by purchasing a ticket you agree to adhering to all points raised:

  1. The walk is approximately 5km and consists of mainly even paths and tracks, however, please bear in mind that there may be uneven ground in places and you should take care
  2. Participants are advised to wear clothing and footwear suitable for an off road walk and be prepared for all weather conditions
  3. Participants must have a head or hand held torch and all dogs must be wearing a reflective collar or have or have a light up tag/lead/collar.
  4. Participants are advised to carry water with them as well as any medication that may be required i.e. asthma inhaler.  Any participant who has any doubts about their fitness or ability to complete the walk does so at their own risk
  5. Dogs are very welcome on the walk however your dog is your responsibility and must be on lead at all times and appropriately under control as per Forestry England guidelines (see information boards).  You are also responsible for any food and water required by your dog and for clearing up after your dog.
  6. Any dogs in season should avoid attending the event for safety reasons.
  7. All participants take part in the walk at their own risk.  Blue Cross shall not be liable, or accept liability for any accidents, injury, loss or damage sustained as a consequence of participation in the event
  8. By attending the event you give Blue Cross permission to reproduce photographic or video images, in which you appear, and the information and quotations from any interviews, in any form, in perpetuity.  You agree to these materials being reproduced in any publication or feature, in any media, that furthers the aims of Blue Cross.
