Corporate partnerships with Blue Cross

Pets are at the heart of everything we do, we believe that all pets and their people should be able to enjoy lifelong care and support, and we won’t rest until that goal becomes reality. We aspire to partner with companies that have similar values to us regarding animal welfare and like-minded pursuits in business.

By working together, we can help transform your company, achieving your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), or Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals, and fulfilling your social purpose.

Whether you’re back to working in the office or at home, there are so many ways you can help raise vital funding for Blue Cross.

In the process, you will be supporting a reputable charity with a long-standing history that works tirelessly for the most vulnerable pets and animals in our society. Without us, they would not have a voice; you can help us amplify it when they need us the most. All whilst having fun and making memories together that last a lifetime.

Ways we can work together

Strategic partnerships

All Corporate Partnerships with Blue Cross are aimed to be tailored to your needs. We know that every company is different and our ambition as a team is to make our partnerships as mutually beneficial as possible for both sides, resulting in a lasting difference and meaningful change.

Charity of the Year

Does your company nominate a selected charity to support over the course of the year? Do you as an employee get the opportunity to choose? If so, we’d love your vote! We promise to make it an unforgettable year.

Fundraising

We’d love to work with you to create a calendar of activity filled with innovative fundraising ideas.

If you’re an individual who works at a company who would like to get involved with fundraising for us, don’t forget to ask your company about match giving. Many employers will give you the chance to boost your fundraising by matching the money you’ve raised for charity on a pound-for-pound basis or up to an agreed amount. This means you’ll raise even more to help vulnerable pets.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is the most tax-efficient way to donate to charity, allowing you to support pets in need at every pay cheque.

Corporate and staff volunteering

We love working with corporate partners on bespoke calendars of activity to maximise your impact as a business. Volunteering opportunities are available to companies who work in an active corporate partnership with Blue Cross. Our incredible partners are given first refusal, but if we have any surplus opportunities, these are only allocated between February and October time.

Due to the popularity of our volunteering programmes, we are not able to offer opportunities to companies who are looking for one-off team events unless we have large projects that need undertaking at the charity.

If your company is working with Blue Cross and you’d like to explore your volunteering options, email [email protected]. It is helpful to include your location, ideal date or week of volunteering and the size of the group.

Please note, if you are a new business, we do not currently have capacity to offer you any opportunities, but we are always happy to discuss potential partnerships if you think your team or brand align with Blue Cross.

Donating goods to our shops

Supporting our retail shops whilst helping us to be more sustainable by reducing CO2 emissions and preventing items from going to landfill.

Sponsorship and event partnership

We have a calendar of Blue Cross led events for the year, such as our highly anticipated Bark in the Dark challenge. Each event has various sponsorship opportunities and gives the chance for increased positive brand exposure.

Cause related marketing

CRM campaigns are ones where a proportion of each sale/agreed set amount is donated to Blue Cross. These initiatives are fantastic for appealing to a wider audience, helping to boost sales, all whilst increasing vital awareness of our two brands.
