Manchester Half Marathon

The Manchester Half Marathon is famous for its fast, flat and friendly route.

The Manchester Half is a 13.1 mile challenge that takes place every October, starting and finishing by Old Trafford, and is easily the biggest in the region with over 16,000 runners. It’s an event that aims to truly represent all the wonderful people of Manchester, and celebrate their achievements.

Did you know Manchester is the home of one of our rehoming, advice and behaviour units helping pets in need in the Greater Manchester area?

Our Manchester rehoming, advice and behaviour unit means we can help hundreds of homeless pets in the Greater Manchester area to find new homes every year. Dogs spend their days in our comfortable home rooms, where they get to play and receive one-to-one care and attention from our team, and they spend the nights in local kennels. The unit features interactive rehoming screens where people can browse details of our pets needing homes as well. We are also offering help to vulnerable pets and their owners in times of hardship with our pet food bank as we believe no pet should go hungry.

Take on the Manchester Half Marathon and you’ll be helping us change the lives of pets in need.
