A professional animal portraitist is set to raise money for pets in need after being appointed Blue Cross’s official artist.

Stephen Yorke, who lives in Oxfordshire, will kindly donate 10 per cent of all commission from his paintings and drawings of animals to our charity.

Stephen, who has exhibited his work all over the UK as well as in France, New York and Cyprus, said: “Working in oil, acrylic, watercolour, oil pastel, pencil and intricate pen and ink, I now create work in a variety of styles, ranging from the traditional to the more contemporary abstract.

“Animal portraiture has always been a favourite amongst my work and this year I was appointed the official artist for Blue Cross. It’s an honour to be working with them and I’m pleased to donate 10 per cent of all my commission fees to the charity.”

Stephen can produce paintings of pets from photos, and prices start at £195.
