The Sir Peter O’Sullevan Charitable Trust funds new horse ambulance

Blue Cross has once again been incredibly fortunate to benefit from the generous support of The Sir Peter O’Sullevan Charitable Trust. This year the trust has kindly donated a remarkable £60,000 in support of our work, which will fund a custom built horse ambulance and towing vehicle. 

The new ambulance will support our horse rehoming service by ensuring we can safely collect and deliver horses for rehoming. It will also enable us to carry out specialist training, education and behaviour work, which is particularly important when we have semi feral or very nervous horses in our care. 

Additionally the ambulance will provide support at major equestrian events, such as Badminton, Blenheim and Appleby horse fair. 

We are ever grateful to the trustees for their unwavering support of Blue Cross, and the unrelenting efforts to continue to raise funds in support of causes championed by the late Sir Peter, ensuring his memory lives on.
