Kath has a special interest in staff development and positive mental health and qualified as a coach in 2007. She is a mentor on the Pathway to Success Leadership and Development Programme run by Operation Black Vote, the House of Commons and Magdalen College Oxford. This programme aims to increase the percentage of people of colour standing for political office and taking up leadership opportunities across society.
