Adrian Rowbotham 1941 - 2018

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Adrian Rowbotham, our much loved colleague, former Trustee and member. He began his involvement with Blue Cross in the mid 1990s, helping to raise funds and support for the Victoria appeal. 

His commitment continued after the completion of the new hospital and he served as a Trustee until 2013 when he retired from the Board. He was a key driver in the decision to open our first high street retail operations and promoted the importance of a strong marketing, communication and commercial team. Adrian became the first chairman of the Commercial Committee (COMCO) and brought focus to this important part of the charity's responsibility. His enthusiasm and positive approach to all of the projects that benefitted from his counsel was memorable. 

His charm and cheeky character will be missed by those of us who had the privilege to be part of Adrian's circle.
