Going to a Blue Cross pet food bank

We supply over 500 food banks across the country

Please note

This time of year is an extremely busy time for our Pet Food Banks. Our emergency packages for dogs and cats will have a maximum of two packets of dry food and two tins/pouches of wet food. This is to ensure that we can help as many pets and people as possible during the festive period.

Are you struggling with buying food for your pet? Hard times can happen to anyone. That’s why Blue Cross collects pet food and gives it to partner food banks as well as our own pet food banks. You can find pet food freely available at over 500 pick-up points across the UK.

It’s simple. Walk into one of our pet food banks and gather nourishing food for your dog, cat or small pet. You’re more than welcome and you won’t be judged. Blue Cross believes that nobody should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pet.

What Blue Cross pet food banks offer

Food for all kinds of pets

  • Dog food – wet food, dry food

  • Rabbit food – hay, tasty mixes

We try to stock food for small pets such as chinchillas, degus, ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters and rats. Because we rely on donations, we can’t guarantee we’ll always have stock for all pets.
