Sponsor a second chance for pets today
Your support ensures that we can offer life-changing second chances to thousands of pets every month.
By sponsoring a second chance from just £5 a month, you’ll get to see first-hand how your support is helping homeless pets to find happy new homes.
The difference you'll make
Your sponsorship gives second chances to homeless and abandoned pets, providing them with everything they need while our dedicated team searches for their ideal forever home. Your support will help to deliver a tailor-made range of services for pets including rehoming, behavioural support and veterinary care.
Lilly’s second chance
Lilly came into our care blind, lethargic and underweight for her age. Our team at Burford were determined to give her the very best shot at a happy, fulfilled life and set about getting her well again, and starting special training so she was able to navigate the world without her sight.
What you'll receive
We’ll post you a welcome pack showing how your sponsorship will help give pets a second chance and email you up to seven times a year with behind the scenes updates, showing how your donations make a difference. You’ll also get our heart-warming supporter magazine ‘For Pets’ twice a year.
Where your money goes
We do all we can to keep costs as low as possible. This means that 74p of every pound we receive is spent on helping pets. For every £1 we spend on our fundraising we receive £7.77 back to reinvest in helping even more pets.
How we help pets
Blue Cross has been helping sick, injured, abandoned and homeless pets for more than 125 years.
In 2024, thanks to people like you, we were able to help 35,000 pets.
By the end of 2026 we aim to have helped 38,000 pets. Your support will help make that happen.
