Blue Cross gives heartfelt thanks for collections in memory of animal lovers

Blue Cross would like to thank the many families who have chosen to support our vital work helping pets in memory of their relatives.

Donation envelopes for collections at the funerals of people who held a special place in their hearts for animals are often requested instead of flowers.

The kind donations raise thousands of pounds for sick, injured and homeless pets in our care each year.

Natalie Farr, Legacy Marketing Officer at Blue Cross, said: “We are always touched when the families of recently departed loved ones request that donations be made to Blue Cross in lieu of funeral flowers. It's such a kind gesture at such a difficult time.

“We hope that many people find comfort in the thought that their donation will continue to make the world a better place for pets.” 

Donations can be enclosed in pew envelopes supplied by Blue Cross, with the option to give cash or supply card details.
