If you don't receive one of the above benefits
Our vet care is available to pets whose owners are on certain means-tested benefits, and live in the catchment area of one of our hospitals or clinics.
Alternatively, there may be smaller charities in your local area or breed specific societies that you could contact for advice and guidance. We also recommend speaking with your vet to understand all of the treatment options available to you and your pet, as well as the costs.
Explain to them the steps that you’ve taken to try and get help - they may be able to advise you of other organisations or consider allowing you to spread the cost of treatment over a period of time; however this is at their own discretion.
Our pet advice pages also contain lots of information covering a variety of different pet species and health conditions.
