A scruffy looking homeless dog called Alfie has his lead tied to a wall with only a dirty blanket on the floor. It looks like he has been left behind.

Recent years have been challenging for pets and people, which has led to a huge increase in pets urgently needing our help.

Watch the story of Alfie and Alice

We’ve seen a huge increase in pets coming through our doors – 9% for cats, 18% for dogs and 160% for horses.

This worrying trend shows no sign of stopping, and as the number of homeless pets in need continues to rise, so does the need for our vital veterinary, behaviour and rehoming services.

We need your help to give vulnerable pets all the love and care they need while they wait for a loving family to give them a home. Just like in the story of Alfie and Alice.

We’re taking action to help pets and people through this pet homelessness emergency, but we can’t do it without you.

Will you join us and help pets in urgent need today?
