Get vet advice whenever you need it
Blue Cross is delighted to team up with Pawsquad to offer discounted online vet consultations 24 hours a day.
Using video calling and live chat, Pawsquad provides 24/7 pet advice from qualified vets at the touch of a button.
Whether it’s late at night, a weekend or you’re pressed for time, Pawsquad are there for any non-urgent questions, behavioural advice or if you're not sure whether you need to see a vet. And all for just £12 a year.
Blue Cross’s Pawsquad discount is available for pet owners in receipt of one of the means tested benefits listed above.
If that’s you then simply complete the short form and attach a photo or screen shot of your benefit award letter/email.
Please ensure the image clearly shows your name and states that you receive the relevant benefit. The letter or email that you share with us needs to be dated within the last 12 months.
You’ll then be directed to pay the £12 annual membership fee via PayPal.
Once we receive your details, we aim to get back to you within 24 hours but it may take a little longer if it’s a weekend. If you’ve provided us with everything that we need, we’ll provide you with a unique promotional code by email and instructions on how to register directly with Pawsquad.
For qualifying Blue Cross customers the annual membership fee is £12. That gives you unlimited online vet consultations for up to five of your pets - a saving of over £70 off the full price.
Pawsquad is an independent company which Blue Cross is delighted to partner with to bring you discounted access to their services. All vets you speak with work for Pawsquad and are fully qualified and registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Vets are usually unable to prescribe prescription medicines without a physical examination. If during your online consultation the vet feels it beneficial for you to visit a veterinary practice they will let you know, as well as provide an indication of how urgent it is. Pawsquad also offers a range of non-prescription pet products which will be discussed with you if suitable for your pet’s needs.
You can register up to five pets and you need to be the legal owner of each.
To benefit from online consultations from Pawsquad you’ll need to have access to the internet, either via a laptop, computer or smartphone.
No – it’s entirely up to you whether you use the video call or live chat functions. You can upload photos or videos of just your pet, there’s no need for you to appear on camera yourself.
Right now our discount is available for a limited period only – we encourage customers to sign up now to prevent disappointment in future.
