The cost of living crisis is haunting pets, leaving them in dire need of help.

Things are especially scary for black cats.

For them and all other pets, owners are being faced with heartbreaking decisions daily. With many forced to turn to Blue Cross for help finding new homes for their beloved companions due to financial pressures. Sadly, for black cats, due to old superstitions, it takes an eerie extra five days and £45 more on average for them to find loving new homes compared to other cats.

We won’t be spooked by this any longer and need your help more than ever to change pets’ lives.

Join forces with other gamers, streamers and content creators between 1 October and 7 November, and fundraise for Blue Cross as we turn Halloween into Hallow-Stream. Every pound you raise will help us run vital services including pet food banks, rehoming centres and hospitals to help give all pets the chance to live healthy lives in happy homes.

  2. Verify your Tiltify account if needed and then follow these steps to publish your page ready to start accepting donations
  3. Hallow-Stream anytime from 1 October to 7 November and run your charity stream! Whether it’s a spooky subathon style spectacular, getting crafty by carving pumpkins or even letting chat cause chaos in your game with Crowd Control, ask friends, family, and your community to donate and change the lives of pets in need.

  • £45 or more – Not only could it help a black cat to get the extra care they need, you’ll prove you’re a pet hero with a Hallow-stream medal.
  • £86 or more – Help cover the cost of a day of expert care for pets in need to unlock a pin badge bundle.
  • £190 or more – Upgrade your set up with a Blue Cross desk mat by helping a foster carer to take a cat for a health check, neutering, microchipping, vaccinations as well as flea and worm treatments.
  • £325 or more – 13 maybe unlucky for some, but it’s the number of cats you’ll have helped feed for their whole stay with Blue Cross when you unlock a hooded blanket!
  • £829 or more – It’s scary, but this is how much it costs for us to rehome one cat! Raising this won’t be easy but if you’re one of the first 10 people to hit this goal you could be resting easy thanks to our friends at noblechairs who will send you a standard chair of your choice!
