Our vet service prices

Your pet's welfare is our focus, not high vet bills.

Prices for treatment and care at Blue Cross apply to everyone who brings their pet to one of our animal hospitals, and are heavily discounted. This makes it possible for us to continue helping as many pets as we can, now and for years to come.

Frequently asked questions

You can register all your pets with us, so long as they live with you.

We want to help you and your pet. In the consultation our vets and nurses will discuss the range of treatments you can afford. There may be more options available than you realise.

Make sure you’re not missing out on any benefits, such as income support or pension credit. For help, contact Citizens Advice or Age UK.

You have to pay for all operations and imaging in advance. If you’ve booked an appointment but can’t pay, we’ll reschedule the visit as long as it’s safe for your pet. If the need for treatment is urgent, we might be able to offer you a short-term direct debit payment plan.

If you don’t pay your bill, then we’ll have to stop treating your pet. If your pet were facing a life-threatening emergency, we would stabilise them and transfer them to a private vet.

Depending on your policy and the cost and treatment provided, you may be able to claim for veterinary care provided by Blue Cross.
