Thanks for clicking on my profile. I have now been matched with a loving family and I’m looking forward to settling in at my new home. However, many of my friends still need adopting.
About me
Cooper is a big, bouncy young lad looking for a patient and training-minded home that can help him continue learning and building confidence. At just a year old, this boy is full of energy, personality, and potential.
He’s an affectionate boy who enjoys being around people, travels well, and is ready to find a family committed to helping him settle into home life.
Cooper would love an active home with adopters who enjoy training and can continue working on his manners and confidence. He’s still learning the basics, including lead walking and frustration tolerance, so he’ll benefit from positive reinforcement training and consistency.
Cooper has had a lot of change in a short space of time, so his new family will need to give him time to settle at his own pace. Because Cooper has struggled being left alone previously, he currently needs someone around most of the time while he builds confidence gradually.
Cooper could live with secondary school aged children who are used to big bouncy dogs. He could also share his home with a well-rounded social dog who will be a good role model for him, depending on introductions here at the centre of course. Cooper isn’t able to share his home with a cat.
He’s looking for owners who understand that settling into a new home may take time, but with patience and support he has the potential to become a fantastic companion.
