About me
Hector is a characterful cat with a bit of a backstory. Originally rescued Greece before coming to the UK, Hector has grown into a playful, affectionate and independent boy who knows what he likes.
Hector can be a little unsure when meeting new people and may take a moment to decide what he thinks, but once he feels comfortable, his friendly side shines through. He is not the sort of cat who wants to be rushed or fussed too much too soon, but given patience and choice, he can be a really rewarding companion and has even chosen to seek affection on a lap in foster.
Hector has a playful side and enjoys getting involved with feather wand toys. He also has a curious streak and has shown interest in catnip and treats, so his new home should be ready to offer him plenty of enrichment, playtime and things to investigate. He is the kind of cat who likes to have a bit of adventure in his day, followed by the choice to come back to his people when he is ready.
Hector has previously enjoyed outdoor access and would love the opportunity to explore outside again once he is fully settled. He has found living with other cats difficult and would much prefer to be the only cat in the home, where he does not have to share his space, resources or favourite spots.
