Hello, I'm Henna

I'm a 3-year-old Thoroughbred Type from Burford rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more.

I’ve been reserved

Thanks for clicking on my profile. I have now been matched with a loving family and I’m looking forward to settling in at my new home. However, many of my friends still need adopting.

About me

Henna arrived as a transfer from the DSPCA. She has settled into life at the centre and is hoping for a new home very soon!

She is looking for a home as a companion currently, to be assessed at 4 years old for backing as it is very much dependant on how she progresses and matures in a home.

Henna is good to catch and is learning to enjoy a groom more with her handlers. We are also working on feetwork as she can be a little unsure at times but is making great progress.

Henna would thrive in a home where she can eat lots of grass and live with other horses of similar type and management. She enjoys living out 24/7 and part stables with company. She is very good to handle considering her age.

Included in my care

  • I've been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered as required
  • Examined by a vet and treated if needed
  • Assessed by an experienced member of our team
  • Given an individual profile to help match me with my new owner
