Volunteer with our education team
Inspire the next generation of pet owners by delivering talks to young people in your local area.
Every year, our team of trained volunteer pet welfare speakers deliver talks to thousands of young people in schools and youth groups about pet care and how to stay safe around dogs. In 2023 we reached more than 53,000 young people and we have ambitious plans to reach many more in the future.
We‘d love you to join our team and help us improve the lives of both future pet owners and pets.
What to expect as an education volunteer pet welfare speaker

Benefits of volunteering for the education team
This is a brilliant opportunity to inspire young people to make better choices for pets within your local community
You’ll develop your skills such as public speaking and team working, and have access to our online training resources to help grow your skills. We'll also provide ongoing support and training.
You’ll also join a great team of like-minded people with closed online social network groups and optional annual volunteer meet-ups. These often take place online.
