Hello, I'm Artemis (& Remi)
I'm a 3-year-old Scottish Fold from Southampton rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more.
About me
Meet Artemis and Remi
Artemis and Remi are a sweet, gentle, and highly sociable sister duo looking for a new home together.
Remi is the more confident of the two, often greeting people with purrs and standing on her hind legs like a meerkat to tap you for attention. While Artemis can be slightly reserved at first, she quickly warms up to join in on the attention!
These affectionate cats share a strong bond, frequently grooming each other to ensure they are looking their best, and happily sharing lap space (simultaneously!)
In their foster home, their fosterer says they have proven to be exceptionally well-behaved house guests, showing no interest in chewing cables or knocking items off tables. Instead, they prefer to follow their human companions from room to room, enjoying plenty of strokes and playing with rod toys.
The Scottish Fold breed of cat has a genetic mutation that affects the development of cartilage, including the ear cartilage, which manifests as the characteristic folded ears. The genetic defect that causes abnormality of the ear cartilage may also affect the development of bone and cartilage throughout the body. We always recommend anyone thinking about adopting or buying a Scottish Fold to thoroughly research the breed beforehand. Our expert team will be able to give you advice on any support Artemis and Remi may need going forwards.
Are these loving girls the new additions to your family that you are looking for?
