Meet the pair of sweet boys, Chess and Checkers
Chess and Checkers are a bonded pair of male guinea pigs who feel safe in the company of each other.
These boys have had a difficult start to life, and are still a little shy around people, but during their time at the centre they have begun to show a little more confidence. Chess is slightly more confident than Checkers, and will often take the first step, with Checkers following behind Chess.
They will need someone who is gentle, and will give them the time and patience they need to build trust with their new owners. They would be best in a quieter home without younger children, and without dogs in the home.
They are currently living outdoors, and would like to remain living outdoors. They like to sleep in their hutch, but must also have free access to a run that they can exert their energy in. They will need plenty of enrichment, such as tunnels, wood chews, hideaways, and multiple hay sources to keep them busy and for them to carry out their natural behaviours.
