About me

- Based at a foster yard in Buckinghamshire -

Stitch is a handsome, gentle cob with so much love to give. Having been in our care since November, he is now more than ready to find a patient and understanding home where he can finally enjoy the settled life he deserves as a companion pony.

Since arriving Stitch has made lovely progress. He lives happily outdoors 24/7 with other geldings and takes great comfort from the companionship of his herd. A calm, consistent routine has helped him grow in confidence, and every day he continues to show just how much potential he has.

Although Stitch can be a little reserved when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations, beneath this is an incredibly kind and sensitive pony who genuinely enjoys forming bonds with those around him. Once he trusts you, his affectionate nature shines through, and he is a pleasure to spend time with. Watching his confidence blossom is incredibly rewarding.

Stitch is continuing to build confidence with everyday handling and routine care, including visits from the vet and farrier. He responds brilliantly to patient, positive handling and benefits from people who are happy to let him learn at his own pace. Every small milestone is a big achievement for Stitch, and he never fails to reward kindness with quiet trust.

His ideal home would be with experienced, compassionate carers who can offer him a peaceful environment, a consistent routine, and plenty of turnout with equine companions. In return, Stitch promises to be a loyal friend and a truly special pony for someone willing to give him the time he deserves. After waiting so long for his forever home, we'd love nothing more than to see Stitch finally get his happy ending.
