Meet Teddy,
Teddy is a gentle and sweet guinea pig who is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can rebuild his confidence. Having recently lost his companion, he can be a little shy at first, but with time and patience, he is already beginning to show his softer side.
Teddy really enjoys his food and will happily take his favourite vegetables, especially dill, once he starts to feel comfortable. He responds well to a quiet approach, and spending time nearby while offering treats will help him continue to gain confidence and trust.
As he is still feeling a little unsure, Teddy would benefit from a home that is happy to give him space while he settles in. Handling should be introduced gradually, as he can be wriggly and prefers interactions on his own terms for now. With the right support, he has lovely potential to grow in confidence.
Teddy will be looking for a home with another male guinea pig, following appropriate introductions, so he can enjoy companionship again. He will also need plenty of space and enrichment to allow him to thrive and display his natural behaviours, such as exploring, foraging, and interacting with his environment.
He is looking for a patient owner who will enjoy watching him come out of his shell and blossom into a more confident little character.
