Hello, I'm Thunder
I'm a 9-year-old Native from Burford rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more.
I’ve been reserved
Thanks for clicking on my profile. I have now been matched with a loving family and I’m looking forward to settling in at my new home. However, many of my friends still need adopting.
About me
- Based at a foster yard in Leicestershire -
Meet Thunder, our lovely native gelding, who is searching for a kind and peaceful companion home where he can enjoy life at a gentler pace. Thunder is a sweet-natured and easy-going pony who thrives living out 24/7 and enjoys the company of other horses. He settles well in a mixed herd and takes confidence from being around his equine friends.
Thunder is a pleasure to have around and is well-mannered in his everyday handling. He is easy to catch, enjoys grooming and attention, and is good for both the farrier and vet. He has a calm, genuine nature and forms lovely bonds with the people who care for him.
Although Thunder prefers the freedom and routine of outdoor living rather than traditional stabling, he settles beautifully in a calm environment where he feels secure and comfortable. Like many horses, he can be a little unsure when faced with new surroundings initially, but with reassurance and consistency he soon relaxes and lets his affectionate personality shine through.
Thunder would suit a knowledgeable and understanding home that can offer plenty of turnout, companionship, and a relaxed routine. In return, he will make a rewarding and dependable companion pony, bringing a gentle presence and lovely character to his future herd.
If you are looking for a kind-hearted companion to join your field, Thunder could be the perfect addition.
