Hello, I'm Woody
I'm a 4-year-old Domestic Short Hair from Burford rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more.
About me
Say Howdy to our gorgeous boy Woody!
Woody is a one-of-a-kind chap with his striking different coloured eyes and an adorable wonky tail that makes him truly special.
When he first arrived, Woody was a little nervous, but it didn’t take long for his personality to start shining through. In a short space of time, he’s been coming out of his shell and now happily greets our staff with his world-famous roly-polies!
Woody enjoys being around people, especially when there’s playtime involved, so he’s looking for a home that can keep him entertained with plenty of fun enrichment. While he does enjoy a fuss, he prefers affection on his own terms and would benefit from some hands-off time while he settles into his new surroundings.
He has previously lived with children aged 9 and up, so could happily share his home with sensible school-age children who understand that Woody sometimes needs his own space and likes to choose when he receives affection.
Woody would prefer to be the only cat in the home—he’d quite like all the food and toys to himself! He is also very nervous around dogs and would need a dog-free home, and it would be best for him not to live with small animals.
One of Woody’s favourite pastimes is exploring the outdoors. He previously spent much of his time outside, so a home with safe outdoor access (after a settling-in period) would be ideal for him.
