Meet Yuki,
This handsome lad can't wait to meet his new family! Yuki is a calm, loyal and independent boy who spends a lot of his time chilling and observing the world. Yuki has a lot of love to give and greets his favourite people with a wagging tail. If he's extra excited to see you he will bring you one of his soft toys as well!
Yuki is looking for a new family that have some understanding of Akita traits or who are willing to learn and understand the subtleties in his body language. Yuki will flourish in the right environment and will make a loyal, engaging companion.
Yuki loves getting out on his walks and can enjoy seeing other dogs, but his breed typical body language can come across quite aloof. Therefore, he is looking for a family that can read dog behaviour to navigate these interactions calmly and confidently and are happy to keep up with his ongoing training out on his walks and in the home.
Yuki could live with older kids that are used to larger bouncy breeds, he would be best suited to being the only dog in the home. He couldn't live with cats but could live with smalls if kept separate.
