About me

Hi there, my name is Martha (which apparently means lady of the house) and coincidentally I am here looking for a new home where I can be lady of the house, could this be with you and your house?

Anyway, here’s a bit about me… I was quite worried when I first arrived at Lewknor, but it didn’t take me long to come out of my shell and I am now a much more confident cat.

I’ve made lots of friends here, I’ve heard a few say that my facial expressions can make me look a bit “grumpy”, but I’m not at all, I’m really friendly and can’t help that I look that way, and it doesn’t stop them coming in to say hello and giving me lots of fuss.

I can be startled by loud/sudden noises so a quieter home where I will also be the only cat would be best for me so I can relax and have my new family all to myself, the way I like it.

When you come in to see me, I will usually greet you with a quiet meow and come down from my top shelf (favorite spot!) to say hello. I walk around kneading my blankets on my shelves to let you know that I’m pleased to see you and I really enjoy a good head scratch, round my ears is always good too! I really enjoy company and like to eat while you sit with me.

I’ll head back up to my top shelf now so I can carry on looking out for a new family to come and see me, if that’s you – I can’t wait to meet you! Lots of love, and grumpy looks :) Martha

I'd like to say I have a lot to give to my new owner and that I think I deserve a warm and loving home. Can you help me out? I think Blue Cross would be much appreciative!
