About me

Stitch is a very special dog looking for a home with equally special and experienced owners.

Stitch recently had his leg amputated which is a big deal for such a large breed dog so his ideal rehomers would have some understanding of how to support a dog like him by aiding his recovery, building strength through tailored exercise and future proofing his remaining 3 legs!

Stitch also had a pretty tough start in life so would like to live with new owners who have a slow and steady pace of life that he can join in with, as well as get to grips with some gentle but deliberate socialisation.

While Stitch can only have short walks at the moment, he loves to be kept busy with training, puzzles, play and enrichment instead…also cuddles.

Despite only having 3 legs, Stitch is a large and strong dog with on-going training needs so his ideal new owners will be confident in working positively with a large breed dog as well as having great practical handling skills.

Due to Stitch being such a unique and special young dog, the team will support him moving in to a new home very closely by offering his new owners lots of support and advice while he settles in and learns how to adjust to a new, positive and happy lifestyle. Rehoming Stitch is a great opportunity to change a life, make a difference and learn more about such a special dog. Please tell us on a homefinder form if you’ve got everything Stitch needs from his new home!
