Cambridgeshire: Cambridge rehoming centre

About

Welcome to Cambridgeshire: Cambridge rehoming centre. We have a number of cats looking for loving homes.

We opened in 1935 and our facilities have recently been rebuilt. We have space for 70 cats and kittens.

Home Direct Scheme

We rehome cats, dogs, rabbits, chinchillas, rats, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters and degus via our Home Direct scheme. Home Direct is for cats and rabbits whose owners can sadly no longer keep them but don’t have to give them up straight away. Cats and rabbits stay in their existing home until a new owner is found for them. All cats and rabbits undergo our careful assessment and matching process.

Short-term volunteer foster caring

Become a volunteer short term foster carer for pets at Blue Cross and help improve the welfare of the animals in our care. As a volunteer foster carer you will look after needy animals in your own home while they are recuperating from operations, or illnesses, or young kittens or puppies until they are able to find a permanent new home. If you live within 45 minutes of the centre and are interested in this rewarding volunteer role, please email [email protected]
